Victoria – Metro and Regional Rates Up 31%
Victoria’s metropolitan rate has risen from $129.27 to $169.79 per tonne – a jump of $40.52 per tonne, or more than 31%. Regional rates have increased in a similar proportion. This is one of the steepest rises in recent years and will hit hardest for businesses sending high volumes to landfill.
