Solutions
Management solutions for paper and cardboard waste
You can make a quick environmental impact by streamlining and improving your paper and card waste management.
Separation at Source
For effective recycling, it’s essential that paper and cardboard are separated from other waste streams, especially contaminants like food waste, to maintain their recycling quality. We can include a wide variety of bins solutions tailored to your waste and space footprint.
Baling
Larger facilities often need bailing services on-site where cardboard and paper are compacted and bound into bales, making transport more efficient. If this is something that suits your business let use help you find the right equipment to meet your needs.
Recycling
We have relationships with premier recycling centres nationwide who can collected paper/cardboard and take directly to their recycling facility where it’s sorted by type and grade. Contaminants (like plastic or staples) are removed and the material is pulped, cleaned, and de-inked.
The cleaned pulp is then used to produce new paper or cardboard products.
High-grade papers or large volumes of cardboard can sometimes be sold, generating a potential revenue stream for businesses.
Our approach
Improving your overall environmental impact
We understand the complexities around contamination where materials like food waste, liquids, or non-recyclable items mixed with paper or cardboard can degrade the quality of the recyclable material.
We can work with you to reduce the likelihood of contamination and with proper sorting, collection, and processing, your business can convert its paper and card waste streams into valuable resources – supporting a circular economy and reducing environmental impact.

Reporting made easier.
We deliver you one waste report covering all your waste streams and highlighting your decreases in collections and costs, along with the increases in recycling rates – helping you ticks all the ‘green’ boxes.

Paper and card FAQs
What paper and cardboard can we recycle?
Office paper, magazines, newspapers, envelopes, cardboard boxes, kraft paper, paper bags and cartons without plastic liners. Staples and small amounts of tape are fine; please flatten boxes and keep material dry.
What should not go in the paper/card stream?
Food or liquid, heavily soiled pizza boxes, waxed or plastic-lined paper, coffee cups (unless on a separate programme), laminated or foil-backed paper, thermal receipts, plastic sleeves and polystyrene void fill.
How do we set up collections to reduce contamination?
We audit your sites, right-size internal bins, add clear signage, and train teams. Key habits: separate at source, remove plastic wrap and void fill, flatten boxes, and keep material out of rain.
Do we need a baler, and can we earn rebates?
High-volume sites benefit from on-site baling to cut storage and lifts. Clean, segregated cardboard can attract rebates (market-dependent). We supply equipment, training and maintenance.
What happens after collection—and what reporting do we get?
Material is sorted by grade, contaminants removed, then pulped, cleaned and de-inked to make new paper and board. You’ll receive consolidated invoices and sustainability reporting (tonnages, diversion %, contamination trends).
